Canadian Chill
When you look to the North if you gaze at it’s star
If you dream cross the border to a land near but far
Will you feel that much closer then you did before
If you look to the North if you gaze at it’s star
If you see Northern lights put on nature’s light show
A kaleidoscope of color touched by God’s hand
Will the lights act like a beacon and beckon you near
If you see Northern nights will you then understand
When you hear a wolf howling at the moon up above
If you listen real close you’ll hear my voice call your name
When the howling subsides and the empty silence steps in
That’s when you will wonder, when you’ll want me in vain
When the North winds blow frigid cross my Canadian home
If they howl like a banshees beneath a sunset of fire red
When I huddle inside so afraid and without hope
As the North winds blow coldest I’ll lay still in my bed
Your words hold power, Felix.
Outstanding!
