When the grim reaper claims the life of a child only faith can help us understand...

Tiny Wings for a Little Angel

She was here for just a second it seems

Before the good Lord called her home

A tiny angel sent to make you smile

But now you feel a little bit alone

But you know that she was fitted…

The day she heard Saint Peter call,

With a tiny pair of angel wings

And in her halo she stood tall

Now she is up there in the billowed clouds

She will look down to watch over you

Be the brightest star you see at night

Be your guiding light in all you do

So dry your tears and smile again

That’s what she’d want to see

Remember just…she kissed the world

And that was how it was meant to be.

For Jess:

It is so hard to lose someone you care about but especially someone so young. I do believe when children do die so young they become instant angels and world truly needs angels.

Felix

Thanks again for this poem. It has touched the hearts of everyone that has read it. My daughter said thank you for the poem and that it is the most beautiful things she has ever read. It is truly hard to lose someone so young, but I know that she is a shining star watching over the rest of the dance class. Karen

God only has the answer to our unanswered questions. I know a neighbor who will have a very sad Christmas this year: this past summer she lost her baby girl, who died of SIDS; she was only two/three months old, just a tiny thing. She has an older child, aged two, and I am sure that she misses her baby sister now very much. Powerful write!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :( >tears <

i'm not sure what function they play in God's plans but i have no doubt they are part of Gods plans and his world. it's hard to console oneself after a loss like this but firm belief keeps one sane
