On a rumpled bed of musky tangled sheets
She lays once more in passion’s spent desire
A Cheshire smile lingers on her ruby lips
As she sees he’s being lured in by her fire
He takes a sip of tepid wine, smokes a cigarette
Studies their distorted reflections in all vanity
Knows this turning point to all that was in past
Wonders if it’s all worth his lingering sanity
She reaches for the cigarette in his lips,
Takes a long, slow lingering inhale
As her fingers gently raise the dead
She’s no stranger to the body of this male
Crushing out the smoke he tries to stop her hand
The horniness of naked flesh prevails but once again
Lips crushed in ardent wanting, wild groping in the night
Love not lust awakened now like a runaway freight train
She knows his weakness and his strength
The moment when his surrenders immanent
Strikes again through his weakened armour
Know need for silly love words sentiment
With morning light he brings her coffee
Victorious she pats the spot beside her
He’s lost control and lost his reason
Now to her he’s tied forever more.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the line, "...as her fingers slowly raise the dead" <----damn BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!
(((HUGS))) and love, karla. :)
A fate that's befallen many a male, to a feline feminine fatale!
i like how you apply this concept in this poem ...
