Reconsider...

Ok, you win, I’ll not disagree

You hold your hurt for all to see

The tides can dance you out to sea

You ask does it really matter now.

Will you know the truth somehow?

Not looking at my wrinkled worried brow

Some choose to lose, some do not

You might give up, I will not

Broken hearts are cheap to flaunt

Go away if you like, running quick

Like someone chasing you with a stick

Your last captured image glossy slick

Hands reaching out to you in caring aid

Friends real for haunted demons trade

Safe haven in the old oaks shade

It’s your move what will it be

Stay where friends you know you’ll see

Or run and hide in desperation flee
