Fairytale Love

They hold hands and walk the playgrounds path

Like their mommas taught them to

They share their toys and share their baths

That is just what babies want to do

They climb aboard that giant school bus

Their mommas cry out there goodbyes

They still hold hands and share a seat

Share their lunches as time goes by

He plays football she leads his cheers

Then something goes astray

She finds love in a parking lot car

He no longer gets to play

Lost and sad his heart is crushed

She does not even realize his pain

Till he leaves town without a word

She now knows she missed the train

His mother tells her where to go
