What she broke that crystal ornament?
The one on your window sill
She picked it up and dropped it
You say you think you’ve had your fill
Sorry I’m not laughing at you
It’s just the things you say and do
That little girl just can’t be blamed
After all she’s just like you
She got into the hidden birthday presents
Opened everything you bought
Made you so mad you spanked her bottom
My, my I guess there’s something you forgot
I remember Christmas presents in stack
A little girl found them in nineteen seventy two
So don’t be so hard on her honey
After all she’s just like you
You say she took her first few steps
Boy I can hear the pride on the phone
Like I heard it again when she said mom- mom
You wished that I were at your home
How you love the angel who lies sleeping
It’s then you know there’s nothing she could do
That could keep you mad at her because…
Very good... oh yes, history does repeat itself... and now as a grandfather, I LOVE IT!

Spoken like a true Granddad. It is wonderful to be able to relive life's precious moments through your grandchildren. It makes all the hard work and difficult times of raising our children well worth it.
Take care,

Felix, Dad, Grandpa,...You are kindly all three here, and proud in being each one.
Most of all though, you are the peace-maker/keeper for all involved.
Yes, I agree, this is a most touching and precious write.
Dear Felix,
This really is one of the most touching poems I've read in a long time. Your daughter cannot fail to be moved as I was. It is clear that you are a doting dad and grandfather.
