Well, they sure can't take your spirit and humour away from you, Felix and I have to wholeheartedly agree with Anita!! DO IT!! Or, better still, take it to Canada House and do it there on the doorstep... on second thoughts, maybe that wouldn't help your cause too much, but HEY!! WHO'S LAUGHING HERE??!! They must all be nuts if they think you are going to take "No" for an answer... after all, are you a fighting man or a "pet vet"?! I agree with Anita...protest! You have paid your dues, now it is time for them to pay theirs. I think a denial is always the first step by the government as I think it is enough to deter many from going after their deserved compensation. Scream, yell and make a scene. If one thing is sure, where government it concerned,...squeeky wheels get the grease. Write to your Representatives too...that often will take care of the problem quickly.

Not only Canada does this for its veterans, but so does the *gasp* United States of America...especially so. President Bush wants to charge vets $250.00/year for the "privilege" of using Government (V.A.) facilities...as poor as they are, why in hell would we want to pay for shoddy treatment?????????????? Grrrrrrrrr....pet peeve of mine, the mistreatment of vets...the Gov't asks us to shed our blood and give up our time for the Nation, and then they turn around and shit on us...NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep they do that don't they? Well you can always move to USA and say that they have locked down the creative freedom. I know this feeling very well. Often nurses, doctors and others are denied benefits because they claim we can teach. Goes to show how the experts lie even in Canada.
