Frieda’s Searching Heart

Across the miles and miles of lonely cyber space

Frieda sits at her throne of bits and bytes

Dreaming of another world, another place

Of dreamy romantic fluid nights

Frieda’s trapped in the world of reality

Held fast by the laws of the land

Heart held captive by a heartless soul

Who doesn’t want to understand?

Ahh but when she writes she soars

Above the clouds and heavens high

To a world where she tastes tender kisses

A daytime soap as wanting as a sigh

Frieda heart so long entrapped

Till she found an outlet for her love

Cupid compensates in funny ways

Plus angels watch her from above

In a perfect world Frieda would hold close

To a man that loved as she loved him

Alas the love she craves so much

Is only offered as poetic whim

Somewhere out there Frieda

There is another just like you

So never give up hope and dreams

No matter what else that you do.

Excellent write, my friend. I also hope Frieda finds her
happiness. Life is too short to live in misery. I hope if she's
in a bad relationship she will GET out. God bless...

Frieda?! Is that my new nick name, Felix?!! :)) Do you know, when I was about eight, I had a pet black-and-white saddleback sow called Freda who was an absolute doll... she won a prize for me at a local agricultural show; I was sooo proud when our pictures got all took for the newspaper... but oh, how mortified when the headline on the front page was "Kate Wins Second Prize At The Pig Show"... have thought of myself as Miss Piggy eversince!! Funny how these little things shape our lives... I still remember Freda with great affection, though: guess she's not been too bad a role model; and my hair is now getting quite like hers - have just been on Anita's page!! This is a wonderful cyber hug from a big, caring heart that knows what it's talking about... Friedas of the world unite... and Freds, too! LOL oooxxxxoooo Kountrygirl Kate xx

I see this Felix, and I see a sadness that fills me with questions of uncertainly. Too many things which to ponder in this sometimes harsh reality. This is an excellent write.
