Reminds me of the beautiful old song - who sang it?! - "If you could read my mind, Love... What a tale it would have to tell... Just like an old-time movie... Or some thoughts in a wishing well..." - d'ya know it?! Damn... I shall be exercised by this all night now! HIYA, POPS!! I'm back - and a good, Spanish nut-brown colour to match my usual mood. I like these "If"s... some of us inhabit them more readily than the "But"s and "Is"s, and I reckon our worlds are the happier for them, don't you?! :)) At least they cause us to smile - instead of frowning about the "What if"s, perhaps. Also reminds me of Lennon's "Imagine" - reckon we're with him, right?! For a dreamer, he was pretty shrewd about life. Sorry, just got to repeat this very unfair joke (well, I have been away, haven't I, so am owed a few lines space!!??)... When asked if Ringo was the world's best drummer, Lennon is reputed to have laughed and replied: "He's not even the Beatles' best drummer!" Ha, ha bonk! Childish, but makes me laugh - it's sooo good to be home! :)) LOL Kate xx

Dear Felix,

My thoughts are that perhaps, you should say the words, and let her understand as she learns to trust and believe in you, you will soon realize that Cupid seems to become far more attentive, in lending a hand. "If" needn't and shouldn't remain silent. Beautifully penned, Felix, so full of emotion and desire.

Very well written. If can be a very long word. If only we could know what is in others hearts, if only they knew what was in ours, our love life might not be so complicated. But we all need to hear the words of love. Karen
