When The Leprechauns Dance
By: Felix L. Perry
when the leprechauns
dance at rainbows end
to the music of the flute
will you join me there
be my dance partner
with the wee ones oh so cute
round their pot of gold
we’ll all hold hands
till the moon is in the sky
then when they sleep
away we’ll creep
to watch the fairies fly
with the magic dust
from a fairy princess
sprinkled in our hair
like Peter Pan and Wendy
we’ll leave the earth
to float on clouds of air
circle round the stars
greet the man in the moon
taste some of his cheese
then back to earth
to stop at Candyland
chocolate breakfast if you please
then home to our beds
such sleepy heads
from our childhood fantasy
a kiss goodnight
with a hug real tight
now that's a sweet reality

I'm so sorry I haven't been able to review your work for a while. Reading this made me sorrier still. I've missed your creativity and flair. What a lovely poem!
