Sometimes we can't control how we dream...

Collision of Lost Dreams

I saw her again today, in the place so far away

Where dreams and conscious thoughts collide

Weaving a web where there is no where to hide

Like rollercoaster ride of lost indecent desires

No getting off till the end of passions design

Will none reach out to save this lost heart of mine

Saw her face and saw her body naked on a bed of silk

My longing soul begged that my eyes would not lie

But my arms enfolded air and again once more I start to cry

I saw her again last night and now feel emotions dead

Lost them to denied feelings inside my lonely head

Tonight I’ll clutch an empty pillow to my chest in bed.

Reality can be such a cruel beast. It can gnaw out your heart and leave you weeping and alone, bleeding every emotion from your torn spirit. Wonderful write, Felix.
Take care,
Sherry

Felix! You are master at these... I so wish you weren't, but you are, because the feelings are so authentic and ooze off the page and catch us all up in their emotional waves. This so, so hurts, and we can all relate to them, one way or another. Reminds me of a write of mine - Sad Loss Comes To Bed. I am afraid it rather goes with the true romantic spirit, Pops: indeed, we do feel EVERYTHING so very deeply. But what makes this truly beautiful is the purity that shines out from your very soul... we all know the big, big heart that the blood of this poem beats from. You are the very soul of love in each of its various forms; you encapsulate the lot. Be well, Felix... we all need your strong arms to keep us lifted. And if cyber-hugs could do the trick, you'd be smothered by now! We love you! LOL Kuddly Kate xx
