Timelust
sweat beads drip like teardrops off the body sublime
the air surrounding is heady like yesteryear’s wine
breathing is heavy sort of half moaned and half gasped
skin is afire and the hands so tightly are clasped
light is so dim it bare cuts through the night
sight is by touch but that too seems so right
no need to worry we have all night long
sighed as her guard dropped this couldn’t be wrong
minutes seem like hours mind’s oblivion in heat
sweet sensations are endless from forehead to feet
an expansion of passion like the dawn’s early light
rockets explode from the ramparts this night
now sated and elated lust desires satisfied
he looks at his watch…she knows now he lied
thanks for sharing
thanks for your comments by the way.. all of them
Visceral writing--one experiences each emotion and feels every word. Exceptional piece!
