To one of my favorite nights....

The devil will dance on all hallows’ night

To the music of the wind and rain

As the witch’s fly with a cackling cry

While the werewolves leave a stain

Banshees roar from their graves once more

Watching the ghosts and the goblins play

Bats will fly high and the owls will sigh

As evil steals the night from the day

Kids will shiver and adults will quiver

Till the locks on doors and windows click

Tis the night of the dead or so tis said

Pray the morning light comes quick

Felix,
You awoke the Halloween spirits! I may have to spend a bit of time on the subject myself very soon! We'll see!
I loved this, as I love to read all your writes. Not only are they entertaining but they are created with the artist's heart in the right place. You have and hold my attention, and my respect with the talents you possess...
I just love your work!

Felix,

Excellent pre-Hallows'! I am a witch, the pagan Wiccan variety. I will be celebrating Samhain, pronounced Sa-ween, the Celtic New Year where the veils are the thinnest between the living and the dead. I hope she bites my neck! Leaves a scuff mark that I can look at in the mirror for days after for a reminder she was here!

Very well done....got me in "touch" with the Halloween feeling that's roaming in this write.

We are not familiar with the tradition here where I live....these people are way too "DUH" anyways.....lol!!

Love Tinka
