My shadow is with me all the time. Just happens to show itself when the sun is shinning. It can be used as a reminder that we have someone watching over us, or just to know that we are never alone. Darn thing makes me look shorter than I am tho. Very good expression in this one. Maybe I will consider my shadow my guardian angel. Karen

Gotta love this one, Pops! Reckon we share him, don't you?! :)) This strikes so many chords and others here have interestingly illuminated various things which all go "ting" with me... guess some of us more kooky ones never feel alone, right?! Us girls never do, with our BFG around... you are our rock, our shelter and our most welcome muse and shadow that protects us at all times, dear Felix. And I'm not using the rather English, HRH royal "we" here... just reckon I speak for a few of us here on the Den. Sooooooooo glad you are here for ever and a day yet! LOL Kate xx

Yet, we are still human and feel the emotions of life! It's heartening to perceive that perhaps we too will share this state of enlightened equanimity!!

Very nicely done, Felix. I always feel like I am in the company of angels. It makes me feel safe and watched over. Perhaps one of them will be to me as your stranger is to you. Nonetheless, it is interesting how we feel as though someone is always walking through life with us.
