For those of you who didn't know my MIL took gravely ill last weeek and was rushed to hospital as terminal, she has made some progress towards recovery what some of you may not be aware is that the night I posted a poem for her I also collapsed and was put into ICU where I have been the last 7 days and after a successful angioplasty to my heart I am now home again but have missed you all a lot and as I recuperate I will get back into the write and revoew mode, thank you all for your well wishes...

Good To Be Home Again

I came home today from a place far away

A place that was dreary and drab

It wasn’t so old and paint scheme not bold

I just missed being able to gab

Now home in my house with keyboard and mouse

I am writing to let you all know

That my heart is alive and so filled with pride

The smile on my face is aglow

When you sit on the edge on that grim reapers ledge

It’s the little things that count most of all

Like the love of a good friend, true to the end

Holding out hands when you’re starting to fall

WISH I WROTE IT, WISH I WROTE IT, WISH I WROTE IT!!! Can soooo relate! :)) But we is all keeping each other mutually afloat, no?! All lashed to the mast on the rough seas of life and death... it is as great to have you back as it feels for you yourself to BE back, Pops! :)) xx My love and prayers to MIL - and who'da thought you'd both be in beds next to each other!!!! Tragic.... actually, the same thing happened to me in January, when I was critical with another problem and rushed in to A&E while my sister-in-law was on an adjacent ward.. was just waiting for me 87-yr old Ma to have a heart attack after that, but she stayed strong! Humour is a good antedote to all these crises, I think... well, as you can tell, it works for me! WELCOME HOME, dear Felix! LOL Kate xx

Good to see you back at the keyboard. Quite a discription of your stay in the hospital. So glad that you are on the mend. Take care of yourself so that we don't have to go through this again. You were greatly missed. Karen

I had an angioplasty 18 years ago where they reduced three blockages and I have been able to do most anything since without any problems. I will pray that yours will be as successful. Bad news comes in bunches and I will also pray for your MIL.Good to see you back.
