Grandpa’s Baby-sitting Adventure
One went that way, the other went this way
This one needs her bottom changed
That one wants to play
JLee is wound up like a top, Lily needs a nap
The house looks like disaster zone
To the fridge I need a map
JLee has the kitten by the tail, Lily’s eating paint
Where oh where are their mothers
I think I’m going to faint
I make a ba ba up for JLee, another for Lily
Put on Dora the Explorer on the TV
They both curl up next to me
Two little girls drift off to sleep, Angels now at rest
I love them both to pieces
Being a Grandpa is the best!

I had my two granddaughters today and felt a bit of that, although I'm on the lucky end of the diapers and bottles now. Mine are two and four, potty trained and a little easier to keep in one spot (thanks to puzzles, markers, and Candyland).
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
*smiling* Just beautiful, your grand-daughters and this write. :)
Love Tinka
Time for a nap for Grandpa I'll bet! lol
Peace,

Grandchildren are our saving grace in our prime age. They keep us on our toes, and make sure we have reason to carry on. Did Boobah lose his magic, when he was needed most? And are you hanging on to that baby rattle with a purpose? *grin*
Those are two very beautiful Grandchildren you have there, and I'm just bettin' they know their PaPa loves them unconditionally.
I think you done a fine job...and I think you enjoyed every second of the journey!
