Friendship Is Recipricol

I will not be dictated to by other people

I will be a friend but not a rag doormat

When things go wrong in your own life

Please don’t blame me for all of that

I’ve been told I have a big soft heart

That just means there’s more to break

So if you think you want to try and hurt me

I think you’d be making a big mistake

My hand of friendships is always offered

I always give to others the benefit of doubt

It’s sad to think some can’t offer me it too

I thought that’s what friendships all about.
