Ahhhh love can last, can't it?

The old man lifts the covers and slides into his nest

She shifts a little in her sleep as he comes to rest

He’s a little hard of hearing but still hears her grumbling snore

Smiles to himself in wonder asks who could ask for more

He reaches out to touch her belly feels her warm soft skin

Afraid to caress her breast and an old stirring will begin

Then his heart with love of ages makes his desire known

As he snuggles up to cuddle something else has grown

Its then she stirs and giggles like a virgin on a wedding night

Their years may have aged them but their love is still so right.

Due to advice noted and appreciated dicided to change the title of this one after all, perhaps this is more appropriate as to what I was trying to express.

Darling Pops... there seems to be a kinda cross-the-board concensus that "Dirty" does not enter into this devoted expression of a lifetime of a commitment to "first nights". And I'm with them!! Even if the ideas that are buzzing in that seductive hand and brain are perhaps "unorthodox", let not anything be thought profane that is, within the context of the sacredness of the human bond of love, a tender expression (or not, even!) of connubial bliss. No pressure nor nothin... change the title!! :)) This is altogether where it's at and what it's all about... most of us would consider such long-standing fire to be bliss! :))

nothing "dirty" about love and sex ... at any age, they're wonderful experiences to delight in and cherish ... your passionate poem does not reflect the title, it's much too beautiful ...

"Love" is only a four letter word. At least to me. Why have I been denied that which everyone else has? Thnx for sharing Felix. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, stubborn and determined to a fault, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your still very sad and terrified little sister, Barbie

When two people have found the "right" kind of love, it never dies. Well expressed, Felix. Thank you for sharing. Love and peace.

This sounds like the most beautiful, precious love possible.
The love God intends for people, but we are our own worst enemies for thinking anything else matters...and wasting time/life.
It is a shame "Dirty" somehow got attached to the most beautiful celebrations of each other possible.
With love we are never old.
:)
John

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
