Star Wishes

By: Felix Perry

I made a wish upon a twinkling star

That no one would ever need to lie

A wish no hearts would ever break

No tears, no one would cry

A wish that memories are smiles

That children’s laughter always near

A wish that war was all history

No more need to livc life in fear

Most importantly of all I wished…

I wished my love to hold you tight

Blew a little kiss to seal the wish

Closed my eyes and said good night!

Oh, this was so nice, Felix. I love the way you ended it - for as much as we wish world peace, it actually does start with our arms around someone, doesn't it? Thanks for sharing,
Monette

Right back atya, Darling Pops... MWAH!! ... I wish your wish was my command, that I might make no more war, no more tears, but sadly I have not the power within me to make it so... but I can join my wish to yours and increase the intensity of it so that perhaps sea-change might come... and I can move the hand that moves the world in prayer... and THAT, I believe, DOES change things. A blessed, peaceful and most joyous Christmas to you and your beloved family, Sweet Man, and thank you for all your loving support and appreciation of my work this year. You are an absolute Treasure. LOL Kate xx

Perhaps if we all make wishes like this, they'll come true.

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
