Ahh old memories of youth...

Frosties sent his message out

painted it in shades of dazzling white

The winter stars reflect off Lily Pond

and the rosy cheeked skaters there tonight

In the back of my 69 Chevie wagon

from the makeout spot top Heartbreak hill

We snuggle into that old sleeping bag

our bodies close to ward off winter's chill

We sip on cheap red wine from a bottle

my roaming fingers tease a nipple taut

The windows now turn the scene below

to a hazy abstract ...ooooh that's hot

Our lips taste forbidden moments

to a tinny radio'speakers rock and roll line

As our youthful night grows a little bolder

I begin to make you mine all mine

Wind moans through the cracked window

or maybe that was just you and me

Love's consumation in an arctic fire

only were sixteen innocent and free

Tap tap tap, outside our frosted windows

tap tap tap there it is again

A bright light not from the heavens

stabs my eyes in brutal pain

Please step out of the car young man

I'll need to see some form of ID

But the man in blue is smiling

knowing we're both as red-faced as we can be.

I absolutely love this. I do not want my daughter to be lured away by some handsome young guy at age 16. At that age, I was only in a fantasy world of love; too afraid to step out. Glad I did wait but your poem tells a story that reminds me of my beginning love with love; some very nice guys; oh, they were so sweet and they knew when to stop! Some others left a bad taste in my mouth. How I envy guys(the rare ones) for the innocence they can have at that age and living for the moment. How difficult it is to be a woman and think ahead to all of the repercussions! But still such a beautiful, wistful story of forbidden love and yet such a natural curiousity about one another. So, when is the next installment? What happened to her??!!!! Love from Meredith

lol Felix! I doubt one person of adulthood age can't identify with this.
Whether it was a man in blue or a Dad in anger, or even a young child with bad timing!
any of them leaves us with red faces and a loss for words, but did it stop us from doing it all over again? Nope!
Loved this!

Paint the scene too well, my friend! H-h-h-h... Assuming this really happened {certainly make it feel real}, I am so glad the
cop didn't prove to be One of Those. Doesn't sound as if he
ruined your night entirely. Hope the girl was impressed as I am. Your descriptive powers. . .h-h-h-h. . .what was I saying? Sorry about all the kidding around. Great job!! Brings back memories:).
