Sorry just a little bit blue tonight...

The feelings back again, I thought I'd won

I thought if I would smile I'd own the sun

but deep inside where the shadows hide

my pain like passion had no pride

I want to cry but fear the flow

if it starts now where will it go

want to scream beg her to see

what she has done to her and me

so now I'll take me off to bed

to dream of things I should have said

I love your poem's title, "Blue Nights and Darker Days!" I also love the emotion that you've infused within its passionate phrases!

I agree with George once again and wonder why does love have to grow cold? I mean, you have nourished it. Maybe she is not the one for you but still does not lessen the pain. "to dream of things I should have said". Is it too late to say them, dear Felix? Or is too late? And I agree with the letting the tears come out. Stay away from romantic movies unless you need and want the tears to come and wash away the pain. Love from Meredith

Oh this one is special and deep with blueness. We often wish we had said more. But something seems to stop us in our tracks this one is well done thanks for the expressions in writing.

There is a sadness inside all of us, Felix as there is a bright and happy sun. One of the hardest things in life is keeping a positive attitude but as you have seen, it is always a matter of controlling our attitude or it controls us. As we get older, I think we lose that desire to keep fighting the sadness and it finds a place to seat itself and begins to get a grip on us. I hope you find your way back into the light, Felix and that you will get to live in the sun again. Excellent writing though very sad poem.
Take care,
Sherry

What a great line. Unfortunately, that only works when the smile truly lives inside. Hope you find that smile (and the sun) soon.

Oh, Felix, let yourself cry. I am assuming this is autobiophical -- said you are feeling blue. Take it from me, holding back is a
mistake. Cry! Scream! Howl! Throw things!! May not get it her
out of your system, but I guarantee you'll feel better. Better outside than in! A year after my brother committed suicide, I
broke into sobs while talking to someone at a party. Hadn't cried
enough. . .soon enough!! ~~ See what a great job you did? 'Bout
got ME crying! Here's to better days. . .and sweet, long-lasting
love, 'Pea' <3 <3 <3

When love grows cold it is a bitter pill to swallow and one that can break your heart.
