Thoughts
I thoughtI saw it in your eyes
Though it was only one dimensional
I thought I saw it in your smile
Though it was unintentional
I thought I heard it in your voice
Though we never talked before
I thought you wanted to feel my touch
I thought I wanted to feel yours for sure
I thought I wanted your arms around me
Thought they could wrap around me tight
I thought I wanted to feel your body
Snuggled close and hot in the lonely night
I thought you wanted to share a romance
Thought just a stolen moment of our time
I thought naked we’d make a timeless memory
That would be forever yours, forever mine.

We both know as do all other writers that our thoughts are only given life after they escape our minds, until then, they are only dreams. Once they've found the page, then we can either let them go, or recycle them over and over until they cease to exist.
A thought this beautiful should be savored not diminished.
Beautiful poetry, and I thank you for sharing it.

Love Tinka :)
What we all wish for...that special closeness with someone special. Lucky are those who find it and who cherish it.
BTW, I wish my butt still looked that good.

Breathtaking, achingly beautiful verse; well done!
