Sweet As the Morning Sun
Oblique sunlight struggles to filter
Through the billowy clouds
Through the slanted blinds
Through the filigreed lace of the curtains
It illuminates her naked body
Bare of satin covers on the bed
Bare of the taint of adult sin
Bare like she entered this world
Enchanted I sit and stare at her vunerability
Admiring the serenity the smile on her face
Admiring the graceful curve of her breasts
Admiring the satin skin of her body
Admiring what she offers only to me
Through the fog of sleep she awakens
Smiles at me the smile of a lover sated
Smiles at me with the sincerity of forever
Smiles as my fingers reach out again to…
Exquisite write!!
