The Taker
From bar room to bedroom
A path he knows well
He wines them and dines them
Then sends them to hell
Girls to young to know better
Women to broken to care
The lost and the lonely
He preys on despair
He’s a user and an abuser
A trafficker in heartaches pain
He’ll take what he wants
Then leave then insane
A rapist in drag
For they offer it up free
He’s a taker a faker
But they seldom see
The devil condones him
As one of his own
The nightlife is his kingdom
Where he’s free to roam
His day will come though
He must answer for sin
When the eyes of his maker
Will look just at him! |

This is so spot on sadly! I'm writing a poem at the moment along the lines of 'why are some people so mean.." along similar lines to your poem 'The Taker'. Thank you dearly for sharing this! It's certainly poignant!
