Just words offered by my early morning muse...

The Serpents Kiss

She let the serpent loose to wander

She let his tongue flick at her fire

Let him taste forbidden pleasures

Though she know he soon would tire

Lips caressed by little flickers

Breasts rise and fall in time

Nipples erect in wanton lust

The snake lingers feeling fine

Soft velvet hair parts sweetly

He so lightly makes contact

The serpent knows her secrets

Her lusting moan is his contract

Legs to his needs are splayed apart

Like original sin temptation lost

Orgasms build to ecstasy dream

She says f*** it to the cost

In the aftermath she doesn’t hear

Him slithering out the door

Ashamed but sated silver tears

Leave her tainted now forever more.

I don't like spiders and snakes, and that ain't what it takes to love me. This part of the song is so true. We can fantasize in our lust for a certain person, but when it comes right down to it, our lust for carnal sex is just like the serpent tempting Eve to eat the apple.

I agree with Lisa and Sherry.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

even if lust is temporary can love in any form be tainted? i guess it all depends on our convictions of who we are ...

Pleasure lasts but moments, but the moment lasts for eternity

I read in todays paper that lust lasts two months...scientist say but the mind allows sin to last forever. The metaphors within your poem warns us of this.
Exceptional and firey passion Felix. What ARE you up to this beautiful spring day? This is exactly why animals mate in spring. It's inborn desire in the loins...for man as well.

I don't like spiders or snakes so the serpent fantasy has never been one of mine...however the metaphor is a tempting one. Who of us hasn't given a second thought to someone we lusted after? Hopefully we each found a way to be strong and walked away, though I am sure that a few of us cannot truthfully say that is so. The stain that infidelity places on a relationship is one that will never go away. Even if we keep it to our self, we still respond differently to our mate. We have violated their trust and we begin to think about how we would feel if the shoe were on the other foot. I don't necessarily believe that we should tell our mate of our infidelity since there is no reason to make them bear the burden also, but we must carry the weight of our actions, knowing that we not only betrayed them but we also failed in our vows to God. Was the moment worth it? I highly doubt it but I guess that question can only be answered by the one who did the deed. Excellent poem, Felix.

Take care,

Sherry

The price of lust evades us from time to time, but once it all hits home, we so starkly remember.

We so often sacrifice who we are, for that moment of pleasure, and if we are fortunate to actually find love, still we know deep within, that wasn't what we were looking for at the time.

Wake-up poetry at its best Felix.
