Angel’s Smile on a Wedding Day   She stands alone at the top of the stairs Trembles in her silk covered fears Hair is perfection, she sees her reflection Smiles at the stranger standing there   She feels her mother’s spirit in the air Closes her eyes for a minute and she’s there She replays all the memories of childhood Each goodnight kiss and hug all so good   On her shoulder a hand, someone understands A wise voice in her ear, as he hold her hands Your mother is proud, she’s a smile from above She’s so happy for you and sends her love   The bride kisses his cheek, and on less shaky feet Walks down the aisle to meet her new husband They exchange their “I do’s” , a  chorus of two As an angel looks down smiling all new.
