Crime Of Passion
We walked on the tracks where the trains used to run
Felt spring in the night air with the lowering of the sun
She took my hand sweetly and smiled like an angel above
I wondered, how I wondered, could this be a new love
Oranges, reds and the purples lit up the West skies
Couldn’t compete with the bright blue of your eyes
With your head on my shoulder looking over the view
I wondered, how I wondered, just what should I do
We paused for a moment, to sit and watch the last scene
As day turned to night I was as happy as I’ve ever been
She turned to me shyly, and I turned to her too
Our lips locked into passion, I wondered, I wondered if we'd get to screw
It was there by the railway tracks she first made love to me
On a blanket of new grass we both screamed out our glee
The cop on his beat though didn’t take it too kind
I wondered, I wondered, as he rapped me right sharp cross me behind
As I scrambled to my feet he said it’s crime at it’s best
It’s called indecent exposure and you’re both under arrest
Though I protested wildly my girl bashfully smiled not in jest
She wondered, she wondered about a jail cell love nest.

My love, you've penned a hit! Wonderfully penned, metered rhyme, the perfect song. :)
