Sweet Melody of Love


 


The violins are silent now


The pianos gone to sleep


Eyes lock across the table


Seem to want to weep


 


The roses wilt a little


The night moves on in time


I whisper take my heart


It’s all I have that’s mine


 


She takes my hand in hers


Fingertips sweet essence bliss


Alone us two amid a crowd


Passion captured in a promised kiss.

This is very well done in the most smplistic and inventive way I have seen lately. You pared love down to the bare bone, offered it to us and we could only shake our heads and say, "Well done."
