She thought of her Captain
Who lived for the sea
Her heart bled salt tears
To see that old hanging tree
He once walked the sloped decks
With the rigging running free
Sang sea old sea chanties
A chorus of diddle dum dee
She thought of his passion
That he once shared with she
She remembered his memory
His memory so easy to see
She once told me about him
Said I was something like he
It made me feel truly special
She thought so much of me
Now to his grave she often returns
To ask how he likes being totally free
Wishes fair winds and smooth sailing
For the Captain who loved the salt sea!
