So many people ask me why I write or tell me that they love to write but they don't think they are good enough, I thought this might be an appropriate response.
*These Words I Write* *I write because I have the word* *Floating on my tongue tip* *I write because it pleases me* *When I�m on a poet�s trip* *I write when I am happy* *When elations at my door* *I write when I am angry* When I�m just not so sure *I write to tell of love* *When love is mine to share* *I write to say how lonely* *When life just isn�t fair* *I write to speak of history* *When politics are untrue* *I write of God and the spirit* *When they help me through* *I write in quiet desperation* *When all my world seems black* *I write to share my very soul* *When I veer off life�s track* *These words I write may not be famous* *Not written down on granite or marble stone* *These words are just my rambling thoughts* *Ones that come from me alone.*
