I don't normally take on challenges but Linda's (Gayton)was so origianal I thought I'd give it a shot.

Journal Entry Date: June 9,2006 Time: 8:12 Yesterday is behind me trying to recede into a memory except of course the parts of yesterday that will become today Appointments for book launches and signings all are yesterday today and tomorrow so should they be a part of my history or my future Witnessed lover�s fight two young people fighting about trials and tribulations, jealousies and angers, frustrated pain one came home to Daddy baby in tow Witnessed two young lovers making up ahhh peace and harmony baby giggles Slept with thoughts of bills piling up and money dwindling but finally went to sleep dreaming of love and desire and the wonder of what if Raindrops beat a tempo on my roof and the wind sang bass, tenor and alto through the open window of my subconscious soothing melody of Mother Nature While I slept people died, wars were fought, hatreds grew prejudices emerged but a new child was held by a mother or father somewhere and the heavens smiled I aged another day yesterday as I ate my supper of lasagna and roast pork chops and ignored the whimper of my already damaged heart Talked to anothers heart that I cannot hope to hold in reality but hope to share a memory of loves embrace that lives within a beautiful dream...ssssssshhh That was yesterday what will be today when today becomes tomorrow�.

Isn't this beautiful? Oh I use that word too much, I know. A journal entry is a window within. It's freeing too, no constructs. In all of those disjointed thoughts, we can find a common thread(yours is of relationship). And it(you)doesn't talk back, accepts your written word without a self-editor. The "Raindrops beat a tempo..." entry is pure poetry, Felix. Thank you for responding to the challenge!
