Love’s Road Trip
As the evening shadows fold the day away
While the lonely loon calls his mate to stay
My tired eyes look toward the Northen Star
Searching the universe wondering where you are
The alarm clock breaks into troubled sleep
Have to turn the pillow from last night’s weep
The sun opens the day with a burst of light
Smell of perked coffee I’ll be all right
Paper boy flying by on a two wheel bike
Robin sings a song into a flower mic
Squeaky gate swings on a rusted hinge
My heart aches from this pity binge
On the road need to find the right line
Touch her heart again and make her mine
She offered eternal love once I turned away
And I paid the price for what I didn’t say
I only hope I have a second chance
To hold her close in a slow moving dance
Whisper sweet thoughts veiled in happy tears
Vows of forever and ever the rest of our years.

Deeply romantic, as you are!
"Vows of forever and ever the rest of our years." A prayer... that can come true when we find the one to share "Happily ever Now".
Will we always search dear one ... or have you already found the secret.
Love to your beating heart ... the physical and the mystical!

I am sure the recipient of this romantic and yearnful composition
will receive it the way it was sent, with openess and honesty...
And I would stop hoping...and start praying instead...;)
