This will be my last write and review for the next week or so as I am going on a short vacation to visit my recuperating sister on the other side of this country. I will miss you all.

Poem Artwork

Soft whispers of our satin sheets grow cold

Secret moonlight stories better  left untold

Musk and sweat and last night’s stale wine

My hand rests in yours and yours in mine

Sins of the flesh consumed by passion spent

Love spoke it’s gospel I refuse to repent

When the universe decrees love must exist

Mere foolish mortal man can never resist

A sigh so deep from we know to soon we’ll part

Eyes leak passion’s promise from the heart

One kiss, one hug, one touch of satin skin

I‘ll live with the guilt of what could have been

From my dream awake to face the gray dawn

Regroup my world knowing all is gone.

Fee..
You've been away and me too. You have the pulse of many people with this awakening pen. Your passions are so pure and innocent with this one as though you were thinking back to your immortal years.

Miss you Fee.

Waking up in reality really bites sometimes doesn't it. Your words are so easily recognized by any one of has dreamed of love. You spend the nights wrapped in the arms of beautiful grace and then, ick, the sun comes up to remind you that it was just a dream. You capture the emotions well Felix. (painfully well) Good day to you dear one. :)

Lots of love and hugs and prayers for your sister... soooo pleased her shadow has passed and I wish her a speedy recuperation back to fully restored health. And my, this is an intense piece, Felix. Could really see, smell and taste it all as a visual piece - and the torn emotions are scintillating! Makes me think of lines from an Eric Bibb song which I have just jotted down which I think I'll work a poem around: "My skin would take your smell, my feet grow roots as well til I no longer was myself, if I were to stay here with you..." Totally gorgeous, and I will work on my part of the collab while you are gone... if that makes sense?? Not a clue, really, but it will be fun to try...!! :)) Whether you go or whether you stay, our AD world will be right here waiting for you when you get back... Godspeed, Darlin... LOL Kate xx

We will miss you, Felix. Please keep safe and enjoy the time you spend with your sister. This is a beautiful poem, though the longing combined with the forbidden leaves the reader to know that this wonderful moment is but a fleeting one.
Take care,
Sherry
