Although this may sound like it is referring to one particular high level poitician who is leading a country in war right now it is not, it is a statement on all corrupt and blind politicians...

Robbie’s View

The Man in the long leather coat watches

He stands at the edge of town and stares

Each day he is there high on the hilltop

Each night at dusk he disappears

Some say he comes with a smell of evil

Some say he is a grim reaper of  the soul

They fear him as they fear the unknown

Fear his shadow and what may be his goal

The Man in the long black coat is silent

Yet his silence speaks like thunders roar

Old shiver with fright, young leave on a light

Mother’s fret, father’s lock their door

The man in the coat comes out of hiding

A smile disguises his evil content of greed

Signs posted everywhere, babies cheeks kissed

Vote for me for president, trust me indeed, indeed.

Politics...a figure head...all have a possie of support "advising" and dictating "policy". The head man is never speaking for himself...ask Jimmy Carter. You can't have a conscious and be a president. You are the voice of the people...or so they say so you do what your support wants done.

well spoken verse.

I can't imagine dear Felix that any one man or woman could please everyone is this frightfully complex position of responsibility.

Can you imagine the pressure?

We are too multi-faceted as a Nation now in the area of unity. Too much goes and pollutes in the name of mammon! It seems our freedoms are working against us now because of it!

One can only hope for a brighter tomorrow. Getting there on the coat-tails of any human person(s), I believe, is anathema to the greater cause.

Salutations!
Richard
