Cast In Stone


 


Can whiskey wash the taste away


of broken promise’s festered rot


Can sleep erase the sins of man


no, I am afraid, I think not


Can love pass by unnoticed


disguised in crimson red


Can passion warm a midnight chill


that like a virus cools your bed


Ah if all is so then where is time


that peoples says cures all


Too many years, too many tears


lost idea’ls tortured fall.

Such lyrical poetry wrought with pain and drenched in longing and frustration... or so it seems. An honest questioning and a truthful expose - as we have come to expect from your pure heart, Felix. You are master at these kinds of appraisals and unveilings. You have a heart that seems to bleed for all the ills of humanity and yet beats for each and every member of it.
