First Book Signing

Hi all. I did my first of two months of book signings this Sat gone and though I think I spent about $396 more then I made in royalties I sure had fun and filled with pride seeing my books and posters in a bookstore and that is what it is all about...

First Book Signing


“In Deep Water”


 


It sits stacked in piles by my photograph


My piece of new creation finally for sale


A few hundred pages, of paper and ink


My solid proof that I did not fail


Two years in writing before a contract


Two more years editing till it was right


One more year held up by publisher


Worries that would haunt me at night


Now there’s a chair and a table to sit at


Sales clerks offer me coffee or tea


A customer passes me an open book


Would you sign this one from you to me?

What greater pleasure is there than the giving birth to your first creation and having people ask you to sign it. Congratulations Felix may it be a best seller.
