Tree Music

The music of the trees in moon’s candlelight

I see your heart dancing in your eyes tonight

Birds and crickets, whispering winds that blow

A forest orchestra we are blessed to know

So let’s just forget the who did what to whom

Nature’s songs push away the evening gloom

Our happy souls float free on life’s waterfall

I hold you on the edge of life so you won’t fall

And when our bodies tire as night turns to day

On a bed of ferns we snuggle with blanket of hay

The soft music of trees shall soothe us to sleep

While the fairies watch us in our slumbers deep.
