It is easy to forget sometimes how much we are needed...
Grandfather’s Birth Time draws near motherhood calls swollen, tired, serene boy, girl doesn’t matter life born future’s dream Slowly rises her face a glow grimace of pain she tries to ignore She shuffles tired to the door I think it’s time faint smile of hope Flash memory of child’s skipping rope dad, are you ready? voice all grown up reaches out his hand her fears to steady
