For a friend...my wish for you.

At the end of the day when the sunsets afire

She sits by his side with a warm cozy desire

They talk about nonsense and each other’s day

They hold hands and kiss in a kind gentle way

She whispers his name when all has been said

He leads her by the hand upstairs to their bed

Kisses of tenderness, touches soft as fine lace

Passion grows gently their love sets the pace

Fingers write messages on skin soft as cream

Breasts rise and fall like a wonderful dream

Hips to hips joined together in a sensual ride

The beat of their hearts match the rhythm outside

Two screams of release as the fireworks flare

Shudders and mutters, sweet love lingers there

Sated, elated on his broad shoulder she sleeps

As he strokes her fine hair and happily weeps.

This brings a massive lump to my throat and floods to my eyes for reasons I can't express, Felix: you have captured that sensorial and sensual chemistry so well and with such delicacy and lightness of touch that it just oooooooooozes off the page. Love streams from an unquenchable and endless source and to celestial heights here; totally complete in itself. Wholly satisfying and peace-giving life in this gem of a write. Bless you and thank you. K xx
