For the children who cannot always speak for themselves

hide me well, close the door

shut the pain, away once more

please don’t touch, hands are vile

I may forget, not for a while

childhood tears, youth wasted smile

battered dreams, abusive style

the angels ride, on soiled wing

judgement day, is sure to bring

souls in dark, hearts bruised blue

someday you’ll pay, if God is true

Nothing that is covered up will remain that way, the recording angels meticulously take down all that is done, and it would be better for those who violate these little ones, to have a millstone about their necks, than face HIM on Judgment day!!

A most heinous crime, indeed! We can pray that God heals the young ones, and metes just punishment for the offenders. Important message, Felix.

God is TRUE and they will be made to pay for his word says harm not one of these little ones. It is so sad the pain of innocent children being made to suffer I boils me to anger inside.... Bless you Fee this was needed....

God has the final word and it seems those who neglect His word fail and fall in the worst way...there is no way out in the end.

It is a sad statement on the "evolution" of humans that such things continue to exist. Well done, Fee. Thank you. Love and peace to you,

The worst of sins even if Christ can forgive the abuser. But His words are terrible, better tie a millstone to your neck and jump in the sea than hurt an innocent child. Victor

How I wish that all who abuse would be punised themselves. If only anyone who sees this happening would turn the abuser in, the child would not have to take the torture that they are getting. I have seen results of child abuse when visiting a childrens hospital and it is really ugly. Each of us should not be afraid to speak out if we see this happening, or even suspect it. This is a really good poem. Karen

Oh, such a good poem, Fee -- child abuse is so horrid, so under-estimated in society since it so often goes unnoticed by everyone but the child. Excellent message here.
Love,
CJ
