Oh tis up, up and away I feel the evil presence tonight...

Poem Artwork

Nay…Never, Nay…More

On silvered wings of the wind

Thru whispered sighs of a cloud

O’er the land best forgotten

I fly nobly though not proud

Shattered hopes of tomorrow

Surround like an unholy shroud

Capture past serious misgivings

To encircle judgment’s crowd

Close to the heavens of angels

The drums cadence beats loud

Black obsidian soul rendered

Nay…to no dark devil I'll bow.

Very different, Fee! I enjoyed this -- you are a poet of many facets, each as gifted as the other.

You are the fearless one, like me. Call a spade a spade, lecture the weak and honor the brave. I want to be standing next to you in the end Fee.

temptation is not so easy to overcome but depth of character will succeed in doing so ... you brought out this state of mind quite effectively, Felix ...

Has this anything to do with the Wild Rover, darlin Pops?? Is he rattling his skeleton in your broom cupboard again? That old Black Dog does come tongue-lolling round us at times, trying to lick our face with his evil smelling breath of a murky past. But he's had his day. Now is where we are, and grateful for the light which shines its path upwards and onwards towards the new dawn. Your darker moments always bring out such lucid expression, Felix, and, very often, your dogged fighting spirit, too. Be well, warm and cosy... and looks like this little angel could do with a bit of TLC, too!! You'll be there to answer her prayer, I have no doubt! Bless you, TY Kate xx
