I think all of us at one time or another as asked this question. Life is full of 'what ifs'. One will never know what would have happened had we taken a different turn in the road. Excellent write.

It's the I Wonder What If's that can drive us all out of our minds. I often ask myself the same question. We need to Wonder What If in order to keep our mind going and our dreams alive. There are always second chances. Another fabulous write, Fee.

Hm, this can be attributed to so many life choices I think. At the fork in the road would we still take the same direction, with hindsight?... perhaps not, but the hands of time will always move forward so I tend to agree with Elizabeth on this one. You've left me pondering Fee. Great theme here. Hugs Panda :)

I somehow believe we get to where we should be and with who we should be with. Lessons learned, wisdom gained. "What if" and "if only" belongs in the past as those lessons learned.
It is the future plans that our hearts reach for in the end.

I think we all have "what if" moment or the "if only" moments I have. If only they hadn't done what they did we would have stayed together. As I think back on that I have to think that I would have been stuck in still a not good situation. The things they did were what gave me reasons to end a relationship that really wasn't worth staying in for other reasons. Food for thought this morning. A good write. Lady J

The world is filled with "If Onlys." We may never know: the kisses might have been sweeter, but then again, you may have been kissing a *cringe* scorpion...a thought provoking poem, excellently penned.
