Graffiti
Letters bleeding on white washed walls
The true media canvas of the street
Raw scrapings of man’s frustrations
Stepped on beneath contemptuous feet
Gray-haired hippie stoners squinting
Through the mists of time they circumvent
They read between the lines graffited
Wondering where their message went
Make love not war, peace my friend
Free love for one and all…sit in
Now rappers cry profanity thrives
The world just seems to spin and spin
love,
Kathy
I think this world is full
Of many different artist
Needing to expressed their feelings
And Graffiti is not the best way
its making our world ugly!
Great to have you back Fee
A very thought provoking write
Love And Peace to you always
your friend...Morning Star
I felt like I was revisiting the 60's all over again. I really enjoyed this one. Only, I guess you would have had to been there to grip this write. Excellent Fee.
Great to see you back again!
Hugs, Laura
Thanks,
Dan

I love the line:
Make love not war, peace my friend
Free love for one and all
If we all followed that, the world would be a better place.
Welcome Back!!!!! ~hugs~

Welcome back, my friend, you've been missed. I like how you juxtaposed (spelling?) yesterday's peace loving culture into today's war minded, violent society: well done!
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
