Butterfly Whispers
By: Felix Perry
Along a garden path she walked to grieve
With tears in eyes that blurred the light
She lingered for a moment by the flowers
To watch the beauty of a butterfly in flight
The butterfly flittered all around her
To softly land on her outstretched hand
She sensed him whisper I’ll always be here
And at first she didn’t quite understand
She held her palm up to the breeze
The butterfly arose and circled in the air
Was then she realized love could never die
For he left his very spirit for her there
On butterfly wings he said goodbye
Until they would meet someday again
Surrounded her once more with love
To ease her hurting and her pain.
A treasured gem I will keep forever!
YOur love is so pure!

Nothing comes out perfect when we are in grief, and it dosent matter, what matters is that it comes from the heart, as this write more than abundantly does.

Other than that, I think you've got a wonderfully vivid poem to read aloud. Good work!
What a wonderful sentimental, inspirational tribute to a man with an amazing spirit..Please tell her from Amber "V" that "all the love in the world cannot amount to an ounce of what he felt for her"...I have channeled this message from his spirit, he really loved her with all his being..
Peace, Love, and Light,
Amber "V"
Don't change a thing, my friend. This poem has depth and compassion in every line. Please read it at the memorial. It will mean alot to your friends wife, and be sure to give her a copy.
Blessing and Hugggs,
