Often what is not said says far more than what mere words can truly express...

Between The Lines

By:Felix L. Perry

 hide truth away

no one will know

which way the wind

our kisses blow

between the lines

let magic grow

only layered words

to each will show

desires are hidden

like leafs neath snow

truth only you and I

will ever know

now skip a line

I have to go!

Hidden between the lines and sometimes the lines themselves provide a knowledge we have to glean for ourselves. We interpret the poet's meaning and you've done well with this verse. Enjoyed!

Between the lines is where the real truth usually lays. Only because we tend to be to constricted inside to just say it! Great piece Fee!

And what is "between the lines" is often open to interpretation. Unfortunately, some people get it all wrong. I can relate to your verses, Fee. Thank you. Love and peace to you,

Regis

This is very "kiss and tell", Felix! Poetry is such a weird thing in the ways that we both experience and receive it, in the making and in the reading. Who can definitively define where, what or how things come about - even if we ourselves are the creator or author? But yes, guess we can all experience a mystical "inner knowing" that maybe develops over time - and we can weave whole fantasies around whether or not that "knowing" is reciprocated. Perhaps not all is destined to ever be revealed anyways... The question might be, just how deep is that snow in the first place?? And how deep is it sposed to be?? Guess the thaws will naturally take place where the BINGO connection is made and two minds ARE really making the intervening linkages... Great ending here - full of youthful contradictions of the brazen and the bashfulness! Very skilful romance, Darlin. Love Kate xx

Oh, yes... aren't words unuttered the ones that really speak volumes to the truly listening (reading) heart? Lovely and with a delightfully enigmatic tone, dear Fee.

Between the lines are hiding the literary leprechaums playing hide and seek with the mind of the readers.
A kind of Machiavellian poem was thrown on the stage here.
