This is in response to a Newspaper interview I did today as to whether I thought Santa was setting a good example to the children by being fat and jolly and what my thoughts were on the matter...

Poem Artwork

I’ll Surrender My Cookies and Milk

Over My Fat Dead Body

Dressed in A Red Suit Trimmed in White

By: Santa Fee

They said no more to Christmas concerts

Politically correct we now must be

No little baby Jesus in a manger

For all the Christian world to see

Then they said no to Merry Christmas

Must be replaced with Happy Holidays

I tell you I’m starting to get peed off

That I must surrender my old ways

This year Santa shouldn’t say Ho Ho Ho

We should say Ha Ha Ha just the same

The first may mislead and be derogatory

Man, has this world really gone so dammed insane

Now the latest is that poor old Santa

Is not a good role model for our youth?

He’s obese and encourages commercialism

Eats and drinks too much so he’s uncouth

I am afraid of where we our country’s headed

I’m just too dam old to change I think

I’ll yell out Ho Ho Ho…Merry Christmas

Eat my cookies and enjoy the milk I’ll drink

I may be just a storefront Santa

But I listen to what the kiddies say

They love their fat, old jolly Santa

In each and every way!

Fee,

I recently got an email forward that said it so well. Yes, our country is built by immigrants...but ones that embraced the life here and would die to defend it as ONE of us. The new immigrant (there are always exceptions) wants to change it and represent their own culture instead of embracing ours. They are offended by our customs despite the fact that they are the stranger. I don't hear about this happening in other countries. For example, if I go to Russia...it is doubtful that I will have luck changing their laws and customs, and it would be wrong to do so. Santa has long been an icon of the season. This politically correct crap is destroying the very vision that our ancestors had when they settled here. Will these new immigrants fight side by side with us? Will they represent us or their own country? I respect all beliefs and people deserve to have them, but why should we bury our customs for the new wave of immigrants? Meanwhile, they get to display their beliefs in plain sight in this country, but WE can't? This poem has gotten me all-fired-up, Fee! Great message here!! MERRY CHRISTMAS Hugs:) Sheila

I'm sick to death of political correctness. Leave us alone!!!

We don't moan about how anybody else celebrates their holidays..No anti-Ramadan, don't care. No anti-Hanukkah, don't care! It seems that we Americans are the only ones that anybody cares about destroying our values and traditions. Look If you didn't want to be an American why did you come here? If you don't like the Christian values this country was founded on...Go the hell back home and leave us alone. And if you are an American, and still don't like it...Shut up!!

Fee/Santa,

I love milk and cookies also. This world has gone to the none believers. Role models come in all shapes and sizes but it's what's in the heart that really matters. Peace, Love and Blessings Always, Paul.

i never thought of Santa as being connected with the religious side of christmas...he was always commercial, and we adored him...he was the magic...perhaps those who are complaining have lost their own magic...

Mr. store front Santa--you are perfectly fine and we would do well to stop nit-picking away at every little thing in order to make sure that no ones feeling get hurt-it is impossible to do--

Dayumed apathetic fools who want to destroy all the fun and history of where we came from, our parents and grandparents.I say they get coal for Chritmas and I'm sure there's a stretch of drabby, arid desert somewhere they can go and be apathetic with each other. We'll all call that new place for them...Clone City. At leaste their small minority won't be mucking up the majority. Let's just put them there, forget them and wait it out until they all get so dayumed tired of each other that they turn upon one another...and only one apathetic person remains. His/her apathy then won't matter much.

Love you Fee!

Let's put ' CHRIST ; back in CHRISTmas - Santa Claus is for children and that's OK -- After 6 or 7 then Baby Jesus comes in the crib in the Stable or Cave as explained on EWTN We celebrate the coming of Christ sent by the Father 'GOD' to save sinners who would go to the Nether World or HELL . We are all sinners and Christ died in our place so we could have Eternal Life (HEAVEN)

Somehow a rail thin Santa just doesn't cut it for me. What are they going to do, arrest you for saying Merry Christmas. Bah Humbug.

Hey you look so cute in your Santa suit. I'm on my way to London. Be well. ~ Sara

I'll share the sweet tooth and extra whipp creme.... AND I second your thought on the insanity they call political correctness.
I roll my eyes and say 'WHATEVER!!!'
The good Lord gave us all a brain, we ought to use it in a sense of 'common sense' and 'responsibility'.
Karla's right! Who would want a skinny Santa? Gotta be a jolly fella for me!
Love it,

I am becoming discouraged about this "political correctness" crap myself. Sad how stupid our country has become! I refuse to say Happy Holidays; it's Merry Christmas for me! If they don't like it, o well...I'm not conforming to their idiotic ways!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(

Great write, Santa Fee! Merry Christmas to you and yours! Ho, ho, ho!

What do they call someone who's afraid of Santa Claus?
Answer: Claus-trophobic! LOL Merry Christmas!...*grins*

Way to go Felix, where have the Christmas traditions gone, thats how it has always been and shouldn't change for anyone.
I am still a child at heart and look forward to hearing my fat old Santa call out HOHOHO as we pass by or take the time to still sit on his lap. Don't change.

Another reason why I love your face. Thanks dear old Santa.
