There’s full chapters and pages of all that I’ve done

All the saints and the sinners I’ve known one on one

There’s wife’s and sweethearts who once held my heart

Each one was a love story, passion served up “a la carte”

There’s black and white pictures and Kodachrome too

Little stolen moments of time that I can look at all new

I know it’s not some best seller with a string of awards

I smile contentedly knowing they are all my own words

I close the last page where I see your sweet smiling face

It’s captured in the last chapter that time cannot erase…
