Hold on Me

 

quick beats the rhythm of uncertainty

small tremors of oft feared goodbyes

my heart please hold it possessively

breathes life from the glow in your eyes

one more kiss on the eve of tomorrow

you fly the skies farther and farther from me

yet in my dreams we are always together

and you keep holding my heart tenderly…
