Hairline cracks that mar the beauty
Of a heart that love’s you true
To fix the little fractured jagged edges
Who can tell me what to do
Teardrops wash away the splinters
But can they act as super glue
To hold the hairline cracks together
To make love once more feel like new
Throwing hurting stones is often easy
But there’s real danger in it too
How many little cracks will it take
till love’s shattered through and through
Hairline cracks can break hearts forever
Till they're just shattered pieces out of view…

We were talking about something that was on the BBC network, about how the Heart has memories. Has it's own feelings aside from the mind. As I have always written, I believe this from the bottom of my heart...It also stated on that program, that when someone gets a heart transplant, Your poem brings that fact to heart. no pun intended..
As always your poetry touches me.
Peace, love and light,
Amber

These hairline cracks can do more damage than we know until it's too late.
