feelings of gray blue

wind voice mocks

old weary depression

like old ships at old docks

shivers and wet shakes

 

　

　

I hate raindrops on sidewalks

 

pulling my collar up

bare truths and long talks

fresh brewed coffee

time to pull up my socks

window seat at Starbucks

I hate raindrops on sidewalks

 

coffee shop meeting

menus written in white chalks

café au lait for three bucks

slow moving wall clocks

your eyes smiling over cup rim

I love raindrops on sidewalks
